Bio
Sara Wilson is a scholar of twentieth-century ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ poetry and poetics. Her work focuses on the transpacific poetics of Asian ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ and Beat writers. Her current research project examines how whiteness is a tangible, historical force in midcentury Beat writing and social formations, which has implications for the late-twentieth century poetic avant-garde's relationship to Asian ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½ literature as a body of work. Sara has taught literature and writing courses at ÃÛÌÒ´«Ã½, The University of Oklahoma, Beijing Normal University, and Mongolia International University.
